An exception to the rule Steve!

My cousin steve sent me a link to an article Shut up! Announcing your plans makes you less motivated to accomplish them.

- Jillian's workout is intense. It's 45min of non-stop drills.
- It's working; Down 3 lbs. That's darn good, because I don't have that much to lose; I'm mostly trying to tone up.
- The meal plan is good - fresh fish is expensive (sushi-grade tuna??!!!)

New Goals
- To post my new goals regularly on this blog
- Be able to do 1 minute of mountain climbers without a break
- Balance being fit and eating cheese in France
- Spend more time thinking/meditating on spiritual things, less on physical things

SKinny jeans??!!! Scratch that! I'm "Making the Cut"

In order to help me with my "Skinny Jean Project" I ordered Jullian Michaels' (from The Biggest Loser) book "Making the Cut".

It's a 30-day program: fitness, food, supplements, etc. I just started to read the book and I am so excited. I've been battling the last 10 lbs for about 3 years now. I hope I can say goodbye to them by the end of 30 days.

She promises that I will be able to "RUN wearing a bikini!!" Don' t let me down Jillian!!! Not that I ever had a desire to run in a bikini, but if I were ever being chased by a....seagull? on the beach, I wouldn't mind looking fit and fine while I attempt my escape, sure, why not.

So the "Skinny Jean Project" has been abondoned (shocker!) and has morphed into a 30-day challenge.

If anyone is interested in joining me, send me a message, I would love to share info.

Tomorrow, I take my "goodbye" pictures, because I will never see those lbs again!

ODE to MY #1 Fan & Supporter

Day 3:
Project started 2 days ago.

Day 1 and 2 are not fit to be mentioned.

Pre-wedding jeans look like spandex on me.

My eating habits are crazy, out of hand.

Decided that jeans will fit in 30 days, minus the "muffin-top".

Want to feel and look like an athlete.
I feel tired and lethargic.

Hope to lose:
My infatuation with food
A few minutes from my best 5k time

Hope to Gain:
Muscle tone
Balance in my eating habits
Low-fat recipes of my fave foods
